Sociology is a science studying social links and systems, as well as individuals in the community and society context. Sociology aims to explore the individual’s actions and their underlying motivation, as dictated by the social and cultural systems. Sociology explores important matters in personal life, public life, and the world. In the personal life context sociology studies the reasons for romance and love, gender and racial identity, family issues, age and behaviour, religion and faith. In a social context, sociology analyses issues such as criminality, poverty, and wealth, prejudice, discrimination, education, business and politics. On a global level, sociology looks at issues such as migration and population growth, war and peace, economic development.
