Philosophy

The Philosophy program is sometimes taught as Philosophy and Religion in some countries. The program introduces students to the basic principles and techniques of logical thinking, the history of philosophic thinking, and the main issues in philosophy (What is real?; What can be learned?; What is worth waiting for?). Students learn how to identify and analyse contemporary moral, social, and political issues by using methods from metaphysics, epistemology, and theory of values. Philosophy graduates are notable for being capable of logically defending their opinion.
