Japan is an island country in East Asia, located in the Pacific Ocean, east of China, Korea and Russia. Its population was 127 million in 2015. Tokyo is the capital city and the official language is Japanese. Japan is the best developed country in Asia.
Japan’s economy is the 3rd largest in the world with a GDP of 5,16 trillion US Dollars. The best developed industries are: Agriculture 2%, Manufacturing 35% and Service Sector 63%. There are more than 1200 higher education institutions in Japan, split into 3 categories- Universities, Colleges and Technical Institutes, most of them being accredited. Out of them all only 250 are state, the other 950 are private or campuses of other international universities.
